Halfway through April already and the temperatures here in Vancouver have not changed all that much. We were hoping for spring, but it seems to be slow in arriving. Easter would be the first outing across the Strait of Georgia for us if the weather cooperates.
What has been bombarding us is a lot of bullshit from politicians. Canada is in the midst of a Federal election and only one thing is certain about all the verbiage floating around: they are all lies. This is not cynicism, but simple truth. The days of principles, articulating them and actually walking the talk (if these days ever did exist) have certainly bin thrown in the dust bin in favour of spin, rhetoric, and crap as if every mind in the country had an IQ of 3.
