Flute: a beautiful and elegant instrument.

My flute is a Brannen-Cooper made by Brannen Brothers of Boston, Massachusetts number 571 - silver French model flute with a low B foot joint exactly like the one shown below except made in silver and not gold.

I have played with the Edmonton Cosmopolitan Music Society Concert Band, its Wind Ensemble and the Calgary Concert Band.

The piccolo is a really tough instrument to keep in tune.  Here there are four of us playing the piccolo solo in Souza's Stars and Stripes March at the Jack Singer Concert Hall

And until we moved to the west coast and aboard Terratima, I played with the Cosmopolitan Music Society.
